William Franklin "Bill" McMillen

William Franklin “Bill” McMillen, 81, of Saltsburg, Pa. (Loyalhanna Twp.) passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pa. He was born on Wednesday, August 14, 1940 in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late James R. and Lillian M. Uphold McMillen. Before his retirement, he worked as a mechanic for Dura Bond Industries in Export, Pa. for over 40 years.  He was a very active member of his church, enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He had an open garage policy and enjoyed fixing cars for his friends. He loved his dog, Bella, but most of all he loved and supported his family very much. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Jean Clark McMillen, his children; William F. “Billy” McMillen and his wife, Tina, of Apollo, Randy A. McMillen and his wife, Debbie, of Avonmore and Barbara Elwood and her husband, Greg, of Saltsburg, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death and survived by numerous brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Kimberly McKeever. All funeral arrangements are private. Interment is private and will be conducted at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa.
