William Gunsalus Obituary

William Edward Gunsalus, 69, of Leechburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on Sunday, August 17, 1952 in New York, the son of the late William and Alice Honan Gunsalus. Before his retirement, he was a manager for Montgomery Ward. He was a United States Marine veteran. He is survived by his wife; Cynthia Lou Glunt Gunsalus, his sons; Jason Gunsalus and his wife, Heather, of Leechburg and Jacob Gunsalus of North Carolina, step children; Jackie Smorey of Leechburg, Eugene Smorey of Uniontown and Kelly Urick and her husband, Ken, of Florida and 12 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-daughters, Becky Smorey and Angie Good. All funeral arrangements were private.
