William David “Bill” Brown, 80, of North Apollo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born Tuesday, June 23, 1942, in Pittsburgh, PA. Bill is the son of the late Albert and Martha E. Lewis Shepard. Before his retirement, he was employed for many years as a farm hand at Pounds Turkey Farm and was also employed as a bus driver for both Stewart and Moore bus companies. He enjoyed fishing, car shows, eating out, and watching TV especially John Wick. Bill’s kids were his world, he enjoyed spending time with them and was viewed to be the strongest man that they have ever seen. Part of his legacy will always be that unforgettable smile that he carried in every situation. He is survived by three children, David A Brown of North Apollo, Billie-Jo Joyner and her husband, Paul, of North Apollo and Deana Colvin and her husband, Chris, of Jeannette; four grandchildren, Nikki, Berfield and her husband, Darrin, of Plum Boro, Alicia Brandt and her husband, Bernnie, of Florida, Cody Joyner and his wife, Tara, of Plum Boro and Matthew Baker of Vandergrift. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Breznican of Apollo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Ann Brown, a son, David William Brown, a brother, Richard “Dick” Early and a sister, Audrey Hoder. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 1916 Moore Avenue, North Apollo, PA. Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:00AM in the funeral home with Pastor Dean Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery Apollo, PA.
