Robert Charles Kennedy

Robert Charles Kennedy 61 of Indiana passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Forbes Regional Hospital Hospice unit after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Bob, for the last six months had been courageously battling terminal Cancer. He was born Sunday June 14, 1959 in Vandergrift the son of the late Robert Bruce and Betty Lou Reigh Kennedy. Bob was employed in the Asbestos Abatement industry, and was also a long -haul truck driver. He was a United States Marine, who proudly served his country.  He loved to fish and hunt with his brothers, enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his sons; Robert (Leah) Kennedy of Greensburg, and Joshua Kennedy of Route 356, and a daughter Julia Martin of Texas, his grandchildren; Joshua Jr., Angel Prunty, and Charlet Kennedy, his twin brothers; Kevin (Sandy) Kennedy and Keith (Samantha McCoy) Kennedy all of Ford City, and his sister Dawn Renee Gontner of Apollo. He is also survived by his significant other Vonny Smith, and her son Devin DJ Smith (Whom he raised) and his wife Lisa, and their sons Ashton Smith and Marshall Smith all of Kittanning. He was loved and will be missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Viola Kennedy, his brother, John Thomas Kennedy, and his Maternal grandparents, Robert and Louise Reigh. At his request all services are private.
