Paulette Elsie (Thorn) Buchanan

Paulette Elsie Thorn Buchanan, 74, of Apollo, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at West Haven Manor in Apollo, Pa. She was born on Wednesday, July 2, 1947 in Penn Hills, Pa. the daughter of the late Clarence and Virginia Kraling Thorn. Before her retirement, she worked 25 years for Compunetix, Inc. in Monroeville, Pa. She liked to buy, sell and collect dolls and  loved Dobermans. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Edward Buchanan, her step son; Brian Buchanan and his wife, Sally, of Shady Plain and 3 grandchildren; Elizabeth Pain and her husband, Garrett, of Apollo, Jessica Buchanan of Shady Plain and Kai Buchanan of Shady Plain, 2 brothers; Clarence “Terry” Thorn and his wife, Donna, of California and James Thorn and his wife, Edith, of New Kensington. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
