Lewis Harold Altman Sr.

Lewis Harold Altman Sr., 78, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at West Haven Manor in Apollo, Pa. He was born on Saturday, June 27, 1942 in Avonmore, Pa., the son of the late Harold and Clara Fliggel Altman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He will be always be remember as a good family man. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Minnie Lousie Lantz Altman, his children, Christine L. Synan and her husband, Thomas, of Avonmore and Lewis H. Altman Jr. and his wife, Renee, of Waco, Tx., 3 grandchildren, Nikolle Synan of Sharpsburg, Catarina Synan of Avonmore and Timothy Synan  (Nicole) of East Vandergrift, 8 great grandchildren and his sisters, Naomi DeForno, Janet Chalinski and her husband, Eugene, of Indiana and Norma Keltz and her husband, Thomas, of Saltsburg. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 PM with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating.
