Joyce Nanette (Reed) Schwartzmiller

Joyce Nanette Reed Schwartzmiller, 67, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Belair Health & Rehab in Lower Burrell, Pa. She was born on Wednesday, March 10, 1954 in Johnstown, Pa., the daughter of Vergie Reed and the late Edgar Leer Reed. Before her retirement, she worked for Respironics in Plum, Pa. She enjoyed collecting penguins, bingo, crocheting and loved to go fishing. She is survived by her children, Jessica Schwartzmiller of Avonmore, Pa. and Robert Schwartzmiller II of Avonmore, Pa., her sister, Leona Reed of Gibsonia, Pa. and her brother, Edgar Reed and his wife, Linda, of York, Pa. She was preceded in death by her father.  At Joyce’s request, all funeral arrangements were private.
