John Charles Bence

John Charles Bence, 65, of Avonmore (Kiski Twp.), passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. He was born Saturday, April 16, 1955 in Penn Hills, Pa., the son of Patricia A. Frank Bence and the late Charles R. Bence. Before his retirement, he worked for National Roll in Avonmore, Pa. as a crane operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening.  He especially loved riding his Harley Davidson.  John is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Frank Bence of Murrysville, his children, Alexis and John Bence of Indiana, a granddaughter, Elsie Bence and his brother, Richard Bence of Monroeville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lee Diskevich Bence and his father, Charles R. Bence. At his request, all funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Interment will be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa. at a later date.
