Glyn Joseph Evans

Glyn Joseph Evans, 53, of Greensburg, Pa., passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, Pa.  He was born on Thursday, January 18, 1968 in Monongahela, Pa., the son of the late, Glenn and Gloria Philippi Evans. He worked as a machine operator for F.C. Myer Packaging. He liked to cook working for numerous restaurants as a chef, fishing, the Dallas Cowboys, never missing a game and was a loving and caring person. He is survived by his fiancé of 22 years, Rachel Townsend and a nephew, Joseph A. Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan, his brothers, Duane L. and Scott A. Evans and a sister, Lori Quirin. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. 15618. Interment is private.  Due to Covid-19 concerns and our concerns for our families, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING must be followed, per CDC guidelines and the Pa. Dept. of Health.
