David Alan Carney

David Alan Carney, 62, of Kiski Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at UPMC East in Monroeville, Pa. He was born on Tuesday, August 4, 1959 in Cherry Pointe, North Carolina, the son of Robert B. and Emily J. Townsend Carney. Before his retirement, he worked in Human Resources for Chelsea Building Products in Oakmont, Pa. Known as the “Redheaded Rebel” to his family, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and spending time with his grandson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion of 26 years, Deborah Ann Senge, his step children; James Senge of Avonmore and Kristen French and her husband, Matthew, of Apollo, his grandson; Damian Kiser French, his siblings; Robert Carney and his wife, Julie, of Chandler, Az., Keith Carney and his wife, Kimberly, of Newport, Pa. and Pamela Carney (Kevin Long) of Sarver, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews. At his request, all funeral arrangements were private.
