Daniel Joseph Igo, 67, of Apollo, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on Friday, October 1, 1954 in Springdale, Pa., the son of the late John “Jack” R. and Eleanor Zalus Igo. He was a United State Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Before his retirement, he worked as a coalminer and then later as a bus driver for the Moore/Smith Bus Co. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, camping, putting together model airplanes, going to air shows and traveling. Daniel helped organize the Springdale VFD. His most treasured times were watching his grandchildren play softball and the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Ann Crawford Clever Igo, of Apollo, his children; Toby Clever and his wife, Sue, of Avonmore, Danyal Brogan of Prospect, Oh., Corry Igo and his wife, Megan, of Tarentum, Pete Clever and his wife, April, of Spring Church, Tina Butler and her husband, Andy, of Ocala, Fl. and Aaron Igo (Jessica Murphy) of Washington Twp., 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren , his brother; David Igo and his wife, Tina, of Indiana, Pa., his dog, Meeka and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Debbie Winwood Igo and a grandson, Ian Golem. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. Interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Apollo, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make a donation in Daniel’s memory to the American Cancer Society or Make a Wish Foundation.
