Frank William Scott, 77, of Apollo, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. He was born Friday, November 22, 1940, in North Apollo, PA., the son of the late Albert “Cy” and Aretta Burns Scott. Before his retirement, he worked for Tunnelton Mining Company as a coal miner. Frank was a member of the Apollo Free Methodist Church in Orchard Hills. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and jig saw puzzles. He is survived by 5 daughters, Cynthia A. Philips of Apollo, Tammy L. Smith of East Vandergrift, Susan Scott of Apollo, Jacqueline M. Geiger of North Apollo and Sherri Witucki and her husband, Dan, of Lower Burrell, 2 sisters, Gloria Learn and her husband, Glenn, of Florida, Judy Milliron and her husband, John, of Kittanning, a brother, Allen Scott and his wife, Bobbi, of Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Janet Gray Scott, a daughter, Michelle M. Salvio, 4 brothers, Sonny and Bobby in infancy, Richard and Dale Scott. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10AM at the Apollo Free Methodist Church in Orchard Hills, Pastor David A. Glass will officiate. Interment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa.
