Carol Jean Held

Carol Jean Held 61, of North Apollo, passed away, Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA.  She was born Friday, November 1, 1957, in North Apollo, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty Jane Briggs Held.  She enjoyed fishing and pick-up trucks.  Carol was a former member of the North Apollo VFD Ladies Auxiliary, she was a very good and devoted mom.  Carol loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She is survived by a daughter, Krista Jane Babinsack and her husband, Jess, of Tarentum, three brothers, Duane Held of Virginia, Gary Held and his wife, Jody, of Marionville, William (Bill) Held (Shawn) of Aliquippa, one sister, Barbara Strait and her husband, Dave, of North Apollo and numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at the First Church of God,  507 20th Street, North Apollo, Pa. on Saturday, March 30, at 10AM with Pastor Robert Shallenberger, officiating.
