Adam Sikora, 84, of Avonmore, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. He was born Friday, September 29, 1933 in New Kensington, the son of the late Adam and Josephine Yarick Sikora . He was a member of the Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Before his retirement he was employed for over 20 years as a molder with National Roll. He enjoyed shooting pool, golfing, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace Anna Jane Dilick Sikora, 3 sons, Father Thomas More Sikora OSB of Latrobe, Vincent Sikora and his wife Maria of North Vandergrift, Michael Sikora and his wife Lisa of North Vandergrift, 3 daughters, Angeline Sikora of Pittsburgh, Antoinette McGough and her husband John of Vandergrift, Catherine “Heidi” Ziemianski and her husband Bernie of Avonmore, 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by a brother John Sikora, 6 sisters; Ann Antonucci, Angeline Spaniel, Elizabeth Bowser, Helen Danielowcz, Eva Ross and Edna Petraglia. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10AM at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore with Father Thomas More OSB as Celebrant. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore.
