Christine Joyce Prenni

Christine Joyce Battistelli Prenni, 75, of Saltsburg (Conemaugh Twp) passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  She was born Wednesday, September 1, 1948 in Nowrytown, PA, the daughter of the late Christy and Theresa J Rossi Battistelli.  She was a bookkeeper for National Roll in Avonmore, PA.  She enjoyed going to daily mass and was a very devoted Christian.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, sudoku and playing scrabble.  She will best be remembered for taking care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by 5 daughters, Teresa Bachy and her husband, Greg, of Clune, Pa, Joann Stibrik and her husband, John, of Commodore, PA, Darlene Cornman of Saltsburg, PA, Mary Snyder and her husband, Tom, of Homer City, PA and Anna Bodnar and her husband, Johnny, of Elders Ridge, PA.  13 grandchildren, Emily Bachy of Clune, John Stibrik (Risa) of Blairsville, Victoria Stibrik of Commodore, Michael Stibrik of North Carolina, Helayna Stibrik of Commodore, Andrew Stibrik of Commodore, Gabriel, Mia, Gianna, and Christian Cornman of Saltsburg, Natalie Woods of Saltsburg, Ethan Woods and his wife, Destiny, of Lucerne Mines, and Nicholas Woods (Mikaila) of Blairsville, 4 great grandchildren, Lucy Blose, Renzo Stibrik, Sophia Duffy and Audrey Duffy and her sister Annette Miller and her husband, Joe, of Natrona Heights, PA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evo James “Butch” Prenni, Jr and her daughter Louise Christine Prenni. Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Corridoni Funeral Services, 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore, PA. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 100 Good Shepherd Drive, Homer City, Pa.  15748, with Father Segundino Laude officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Cemetery, Iselin, PA
