Donna Frances (Huey) Askins

Donna F. Huey Askins, 74, of Young Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Indiana Hospital in Indiana, Pa. Donna was born on Tuesday, June 8, 1943 in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Francis “Donald” and Elsie D. Kracsun Huey. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, walking, going to Flea Markets and spending time at their camp.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Askins, 2 daughters, Christine Arreola and her husband Dr. Rodolfo Arreola of Erie, Pa, Kelly Gamble and her husband Larry of Iselin and a son Shawn Askins of Blairsville, 4 grandchildren, Bronte and Elan Arreola and Morgan and Lauren Gamble, a brother William Huey and his wife Missy of Derry and a sister Dorothy “Dottie” Butz and her husband Raymond of Latrobe and her step father Bill Hohman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Askins. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Services will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 8PM in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. Interment will be private.
